Karin Raeymaeckers
is a Professor of Communication Sciences and Head of the Department of Communication Sciences at Ghent University, Belgium. As a member of the Board of Directors of Ghent University, she is also involved in management issues in academia
Her current research interests in the Center for Journalism include media policy, political communication and journalism studies. She is a member of the Euromedia Research Group and co-editor of the European Journal of Communication (together with Peter Golding and Helena Sousa)
