Seymur Kazimov
is a journalist specialised in conflict studies, with experience in cross-border monitoring and reporting, and a researcher on media development issues. He has been working as a journalist since 2002, enriching his background through participation in a number of professional workshops conducted abroad by international media organisations. As a journalist, his professional aim is to provide local and international media outlets with information regarding escalations, security and other issues.
Mr Kazimov is an expert on conflict reporting and journalism in extreme situations and author of many articles and speeches about media in Azerbaijan. He has been speaking at international conferences on media independence and professionalism, strengthening media support and media education challenges and conducting trainings and master classes in Azerbaijan and abroad.
