Jesus Antonio Arroyave Cabrera
is Full Professor and Director of the Doctoral Program at Universidad del Norte. He earned his PhD in Communication from the University of Miami and his Master’s degree in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University, USA.
His professional interest focuses on journalism and media studies, health communication and communication for development and social change. He is the author and coauthor of several books, journal articles and book chapters. He has extensive experience as a consultant for different United Nations agencies in the area of health communication and communication for development and social change. He holds a position as visiting scholar in Spain, Germany, UK and USA.
