Andrej Školkay
PhD, the scientist in charge of the research team of the School of Communication and Media, n.o. Bratislava, Slovakia, has published widely on various aspects of the media and political sciences. He is the author of Media and Globalisation (SCM, Bratislava, 2009) and published a book on Media Law in Slovakia (Kluwer Law International, The Netherlands, 2016)
Most recently, he published a chapter on Slovakia (as a key author and co-editor) in Comparative Media Law Practice - Media Regulatory Authorities in the Visegrad Countries (180 pages). The number of citations of his works is about 60 worldwide. The number of scientific publications is about 40. Dr. Školkay was member of the Press Council of Slovakia in years 2005-2008. He obtained his PhD in 2000 from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia
