In the last five years, Lebanon has witnessed a deep and transversal crisis that has had a heavy impact on the media sector. The shortage of funding derived from the crisis, has led several media outlets to reduce, change or interrupt their production. Especially newspapers, already endangered from the global press crisis, suffered a heavy slowdown in production and circulation.
