Christine Horz
is a senior researcher and lecturer at the Institute for Media Studies (IfM), Ruhr-University Bochum/Germany. She is guest professor for Communication Studies at the University of Greifswald during the summer term 2017
Her research focus is on PSM-media policy and audience activism for more participation. She is founder of the association for the establishment of audience councils in Germany (publikumsrat.de). Christine Horz is also expert in media diversity and transcultural media studies and recently submitted a joint research project proposal at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to analyse refugee media
