David Lomuria Eperit
is a media researcher, producer and journalist, focusing his work on the nexus of media, society and human rights. Between 2018 and 2019, he conducted media trainings and mentorships in South Sudan with Journalists for Human Rights (JHR). From 2013 to 2017, he worked in South Sudan for Feature Story News (FSN).
He started and managed the FSN Juba bureau and extensively covered the conflict and humanitarian crises in the country for media organisations worldwide. His reporting has been published by The Daily Nation, The East African, Thomson Reuters, The Independent and The New Humanitarian among others. His broadcast pieces have been aired by CGTN, PBS, TRT World, VOA, SABC, DW, Rudaw Network, Associated Press and Thompson Reuters. Mr Lomuria holds BA/MA degrees in Journalism and Communications Studies from the University of Nairobi and an MSc degree in African Studies from the University of Oxford.
