Eriyanto
has written over 25 essays on media, politics, communications, and research methods. Prior to becoming a teacher, he was a practitioner in the field of public opinion research and undertook much research in particular with the media and public opinion. He has been a research director at several research institutes, including the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI), SIGI, and the Indonesian Survey Circle.
