Andrea Cristancho Cuesta
is the Academic Director of the MSc in Strategic Management of Communication at the Central American University José Simeón Cañas (UCA) and a Professor at the MSc in Political Science from the same university.
MSc in International Affairs from Universidad Externado de Colombia and Columbia University-School of International Public Affairs. MA in Political Issues and International Affairs from Universidad Externado de Colombia and Columbia University-School of International Public Affairs. BA in Social Communication and Journalism from Sabana University in Bogotá, Colombia. Currently doing a PhD in Social Sciences at Central American University José Simeón Cañas from El Salvador. She has conducted several research projects about media systems, human rights for journalists and deepening of democracy within the Comunicándonos Foundation. Additionally, she conducted research projects within the History Department of the Humanities Institutes at Sabana University and the Research Department at the Cancerology National Institute in Colombia. Currently she is the Academic Director of the MSc in Strategic Management of Communication at the Central American University José Simeón Cañas (UCA) in El Salvador and as a Professor at the MSc in Political Science from the same university.
